WisdomLeap has been successfully implemented by a number of such programs implemented across India with leading partners like American Indian Foundation, Vodafone Foundation and Pratham Foundation. Case study - Tablet Labs with American Indian Foundation
American Indian Foundation is one of the prominent foundations working in India with a mission to catalyse social and economic change in the country. It runs several programs in education, livelihoods and public health.
AIF's education programs ensure that children in neglected regions and under resourced schools have access to high-quality educational opportunities and gain critical life skills alongside 21st century knowledge to prepare them for success in today's globalized world. One of the programs being run is Digital Equalizer which is aimed at bridging the educational and digital divide in India where 700,000 public schools lack technology.
As part of the Digital Equalizer programs, AIF has set up tablet labs loaded with WisdomLeap Content for Math and Science for Grade 6 to 10 as per the school curriculum. The tab labs implement the flip class methodology which encourages students to self-learn a concept before the class so that the time with the teacher can be more meaningful. These tab labs have been implemented across multiple states in India.
